Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation – A Government of Himachal Pradesh Undertaking
The HP Ex-Servicemen Corporation was established to provide comprehensive welfare and support to the ex-servicemen community across Himachal Pradesh. Since our inception, we have been dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing and successful rehabilitation of those who served our nation.

The Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation (HIMPESCO) was established under the Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation Act, 1979, as a welfare initiative of the Government of Himachal Pradesh dedicated to the rehabilitation and employment of ex-servicemen in the state.
The Corporation was subsequently amended and strengthened through the Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2013, reinforcing its mandate to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to retired defence personnel and their dependents.

HIMPESCO follows a transparent and merit-based registration process to ensure authenticity and eligibility of all registered ex-servicemen. The procedure is designed to maintain the highest standards of verification and documentation.
Physical Verification at Head Office
Applicants must appear in person at HIMPESCO Head Office, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh for identity verification and documentation submission.
Scrutiny of Original Documents
Discharge certificate, service records, identity proof, and relevant educational/technical qualification certificates are verified against originals.
Allotment of HIMPESCO Registration Number
Upon successful verification, a unique HIMPESCO Registration Number is issued, enabling the ex-serviceman for deployment consideration.
Deployment Based on Requirement
Registered personnel are deployed to Principal Employers based on skill match, availability, and specific job requirements as per contractual agreements.
